YCMC and New Balance have connected again with an exclusive 990v5 collaboration that represents the spirit of ambition to achieve success and to settle for nothing less regardless of your craft.Utilizing the “big checks and no stress” ethos as inspiration, the colorway of the 990v5 takes its cues from federal tax refund checks as it features a gradient treatment across the iconic silhouette. Constructed with a cream and tidepool pig-suede upper, this Made in USA model is highlighted with that same color delivery in gradient colored mesh, making it the first 990v5 to receive this mesh treatment. Carrying that same color execution, the TPU strap and “N” logo on each shoe feature the same cream to tidepool gradation. Each pair will come with a tidepool and red set of laces. Completing the check-themed story, this release comes with refund check, security printed tissue paper, and an envelope-themed shopping bag.
